Older newborn photography sessions typically focus on babies who are beyond the traditional "newborn" stage, usually between 1 to 6 months old (or until bub is able to sit on their own). However, every baby develops at their own pace and all our older newborn sessions are very baby lead so to accommodate your little one's unique timeline.

During your older newborn session, we'll focus on capturing your baby's emerging personality, milestones, and adorable expressions. We aim to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where your baby can be themselves, whether they're smiling, babbling, crying or napping (please note, if bub is napping, we will attempt, but it is less likely to get those curled up sleeping poses the older bub gets).

Older newborn sessions usually last between 1 to 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing a variety of poses and expressions. We understand that babies can be unpredictable, so we'll work at your baby's pace to ensure a stress-free experience.

Yes, we have a selection of props, wraps, and accessories to enhance your baby's photoshoot experience. From cozy blankets to adorable bonnets/headbands, we'll incorporate props that complement your style and vision for the session. 

Absolutely! We encourage parents and siblings to join in the fun and be part of the memories we capture. Including family members adds a personal touch to your baby's photoshoot and to capture your unique relationships.

We suggest bringing any special items you'd like to incorporate into your baby's photoshoot, such as heirloom blankets, toys, or outfits with sentimental value (please ensure theses are well fitting, we do not recommend bow ties puffy sleaves or anything that bunches excessively while holding baby). Additionally, be sure to bring essentials like nappies, wipes, and a change of clothes for both you and your baby.
